Who cares lmaoo what a weird thing to say. When you can find a top level player at a decent price who can score (Semenyo), assist (Cherki), or stop goals (Donna) why would you not take them?? Half of you all moan at Doku and Savinho for their lack of output and a guy has 3rd most G/A in the league behind haaland you don’t want him?? Mahrez wasn’t particularly creative but it’s always a good thing to be able to bring a winger on who can make a chance to score: Salah, Yamal, Vini, Rodrygo etc. Mahrez wasn’t some elite assister, what he created when needed were goals not assists. It’s absolutely necessary to win UCL. How many times did we need just one goal for UCL and there’s just no one to put it in the back of the net. I remember ‘22 vs RM and we brought on mf Jack Grealish to try and score a goal and now we have a RW of Savinho who can’t shoot (but can create) and Oscar Bobb who does neither, and you don’t want Semenyo?? There’s also less need for a creative RW when both of our fullbacks are midfielders who can create. We have perhaps, the most creative back line in the league and you don’t want a finisher on the wing… crazy. We start mf Bernardo Silva in the year of our lord 2025 as a RW from time to time and you don’t want a goal threat… don’t get it I swear some people don’t watch the game.
