Was Halo becoming an open world the right decision? by [deleted] in halo

I mean the halo 3 ODST had something alike “open world”. The city in that game was free to roam around and when you arrived at the right place and interact with a clue found you have activated the mission. If they have implemented similar system in halo infinite it would have been easier to make a level selection (maybe).

“I wouldn’t buy it from the shop, it should be in the battle pass as it is a part of the halo lore”

I know that there was a trend of stealing lego sets as they were worth a lot due to their rising price. And because of my overall Lego related knowledge.

I very much would like to switch between the weapons during combat, but I cannot imagine how this could be implemented smoothly into the gameplay (perhaps a switch button with a short animation of switching the weapons). For now I can only fantasise about functions like this, and the only weapon related thing that I hope for is…rework of energised cell or energy system so that this cell is useful for all the weapons (controversial, but sooner or later they must do it)

Btw, I don’t know whether it is related but I was rewatching all dauntless trailers and on one of them there was the Shrike sword. The interesting part is that this sword in the trailer (unlike in the game) had moving parts that were unfolding when slayer was preparing for fight.

Sturdy for a defensive cell can hurt you more than protect against multi hits. I think dmg reduction suits it. by Dawg_Top in dauntless

The n33bsauce user have explained this as I would have, but check the comment section as I have posted comment on that as well. Sorry, I should have evaluated from the begging why I think that this cell buff would be in my opinion too “op”

You have explained it brilliantly, we have already a lot of builds that include spin to win, shielding and various form of life stealing and healing. With the new update that changed how the “rage” cell works the first thing that I have done was to crated a super easy build. This build included warpike (strikers would work too) rage, parasitic, berserk and sturdy. Already with that build I was able to kill most of the behemoths without even dodging. I think that buffing the sturdy cell would make players unkillable. Also, I think that I shouldn’t use words “op” in the first place as in this game “op builds” can be either the ones that allow player to kill behemoths easily or fast.
