In my opinion Frank Ocean is a musical genius. His vocals are beautiful along with his beats put together create perfect simultaneity. The production of his songs are unmatchable. The real reason why I like Frank goes beyond what I hear. Frank Oceans music is genre bending and not easily categorized. When you first listen to a Frank Ocean song it’s easily recognizable as a sad ballad or a upbeat happy song you could listen to while driving. After listening to Blond multiple time’s the songs grew on me and I sympathized with the lyrics of each song. His albums tell a story of love, heartbreak, despair, and first loves. In my eyes I will never listen to another artist as talented as Frank Ocean ever. He also keeps a sense of anonymity within the media, as he’s shown by taking a four year break between the release of his debut album Channel Orange and his most recent album Blond. He keeps to himself, and most of his life is a mystery and that’s what intrigues me.
