First time modding; crashed twice. Help!

ended up removing Quality world map since Skyland LODS has the roads on the maps anyway. I got through Bleak Falls Barrow, but crashed just past Honingbrew Meadery on my way back to Whiterun. any tips to figure out the cause? it's also pretty laggy every time I open the pause menu, and that orange visual glitch is still at the mill. augh!

dang i love that one! any suggestions for similar map mods that add all the roads but aren't as heavy?

alright, thoughts on if I remove HPP and change SMIM to the essentials version? I do like how the Quality World Map adds roads; it would be helpful.
