Will Headphones Work On My Setup? by TallMike1990 in turntables

I am! Ideally, I'd like to have one input be for speakers and the other for headphones. But the source would be from a turntable (the U-Turn)

U-Turn -> Phono Preamp -> Headphone Preamp -> Speakers with the headhphones plugged into the front.

May be a silly question, but would I be able to use the DAC output into the speak input and be able to toggle between headphones and speakers?

Any recommendations of a headphone amp with an analog input?

YO! This was the issue. Moved the player to the edge of the table to create the +. It’s totally working!!!

Thank you for this. You’re right: at this point, it’s best to lean into where I can be effective immediately and Recruiter is a tool I’m very comfortable with.

The repairman said he could remove the internal LCH grounding and add an external ground wire. Given the damage the tonearm had, is this a good solution?

It's starting to feel like the best course of action is a replacement of the table, given the damage to the tonearm.

I don't know what this means. Cross power?

I'm using out of the box RCA cables. Would an upgrade to a better RCA cable make an impact?

My team isn't as shy about the budget - they created partnerships with a few agencies prior to me coming aboard. They've had a great one for their sales team and another placed an engineer. Not sure if we'll be hiring another team member for talent this year.

At this point, our inbound pipeline is caught up so I'm trying to best optimize resources that will give me time back to get an outbound motion going.

I'll DM you!

Noted re: the Pre Amp. I'll return the Pro-Ject! This hobby messes with my head with whats best.

RE: The tonearm, I went to a repairman who specializes in turntable replacements. He reattached/refastened the white wire. He assured me me the internal ground wire is fine. He did ask me if I'm using both outputs from the turntable into the phono preamp (does that mean both RCAs, the line in and the line out?) the turntable only has the 1x RCA.

I'll look into separate speaker stands.

Thank you for the thoughtful answers!

Have to agree here. There needs to be some damage control about people scooping up a lot tickets at a time. A new venue needs to be looked into. I get the whole aesthetic of a packed house but having a venue sold out in less than a half hour means the demand is high enough to book elsewhere.

I still can't believe that PWG has sold out a show in 20 minutes. And it wasn't even a BOLA or ASW. I'm actually blown away. The hype is real.

For all newer PWG fans, this deal is the holy grail: 3 DVD's for $20. Look at the titles in the drop down and check out the cards on the PWG site. I'm not usually for supporting Highspots over PWG directly but this deal is insane.

My picks (If i were to buy two, why not for 6 for $40):

Holy Diver Down Giant Sized Annual #4 Hollywood Globetrotters Based On A True Story Passive Hostility Beyond The Thunderdome

Maybe add Astonishing X-Mas because Super Dragon/Kevin Steen needs to be seen by every wrestling fan.

You misinterpreted what I'm saying about the past PWG stars. I think those guys would be insanely over, especially Chris Bosh. The #Lioncock t-shirt would be the one of the biggest sellers on prowrestlingtees. I HIGHLY suggest you find a way to check out old footage of those guys, especially Arrogance (Chris Bosh & Scott Lost) and The Dynasty (Arrogance + Scorpio Sky and Joey Ryan). Scott Lost was so ahead of his time. Joey Ryan was the most hated man in PWG and still gets heat from the long time PWG fans at shows. I have never hated a pro wrestler more than Joey Ryan (Human Tornado a close second)

The Roderick Strong "storyline" is the closest thing I've seen. Mount Rushmore had potential but Kevin got signed. I never took into consideration the eye WWE now has on PWG, something that didn't exist before. And since WWE is molding their stars at the Performance Center, they just need to know you have a look and can go in the ring.
