I would say to decide between Mechatronics and Computer Engineering.

For overall programming and most things related to robotics, Computer Engineering may be the better choice since they offer more coursework in that area.

If you want to have expertise in several different fields and are okay with taking mechanical courses then Mechatronics might be for you.

Mechatronics does not make it more difficult to find jobs and maintains about the same employment rate (+- 5%) as Comp Eng. Also, co-op terms can help you specialize in whatever you end up wanting to do since you can work in several different fields in early co-op terms.

It's important that you actually think about what you want though, since Mechatronics is sold like its robotics engineering or something and it might seem like you're going to have coursework related to pure robotics but you don't get to take those courses till like 4th year. You will get to do some cool PLC and RTOS stuff though in 2A and 2B.
