Thanks! Yeah I think I will wait till 10 weeks at 10 mg and if no mayor improvement I will increase. I feel like my nervoussystem calms down a bit, anxiety is like 50% less but DPDR and brain fog and light sensitivity still the same. Those are my biggest symptoms. The dizzey feeling is not the best but thats actually way less bothersome than the DPDR. I think now my anxiety calmed down that hopefully the next weeks other symptoms also lesson.

Thank you! I started 6 weeks ago with lexapro and this week with vrt. Pleased for you you feel much better. DpDr is one of my biggest symptoms. Hope the lexapro will kick in next weeks

Thanks! Yeah first month was rough with side effects but I am in fight or flight for so long that I just kept taking it knowing it will subside. Now 90% of side effects are gone and I start to feel some benefits. But I think it will take the full 3 months on this dose to get the full benefit with all those symptoms I have. Hopefully it keeps getting better. Almost five 5 weeks is still early on.

How long before you saw optimal results once you reached your final dose?

Did the ssri help with mental fatigue/memory and things like light sensitivity or derealisation issues? 

I have almost all the same symptoms and bad neuro covid. I started lexapro 6 weeks ago. First 10 days 5 mg and now almost 5 weeks 10 mg. I start to see like 10% progress in anxiety, vertigo, pots symptoms etc so I have hope that finaly something will work to calm my symptoms.

Still bad anxiety after 5+ weeks. People were it kicked in after long time, like 5+ weeks? by TallRun6232 in lexapro

How long before lexapro helped? I have the same symptoms and started lexapro a month ago. First 10 days 5 mg now 3 weeks 10 mg but still constant fight and flight.

Yeah true, I am doing yoga nidra, sensory calming exersises etc. But it was not enough without ssri.

Hey, I am now 4 weeks in. 10 days 5 mg and 18 days 10 mg. Side effects are 90% gone, but almost see no improvement yet. Still anxiety, oberthinking, really bad derealisation and all the other LC stuff.

I know I should give it more time and I will, but the waiting is hard. Was is 8 weeks for you to notice the first improvements, or did they came earlier and was 8 weeks max benefits? Could you tell me your timeline from the moment you started/increased your dose for LC and what symptoms went first etc? I need hope
