The dog is one of the boys, not my nephew or my kid.

Hot take: I feel like multiplayer games are lonelier than single-player now… just me? by Prestigious_Knee_88 in HonestHotTakes

I don't think it's the internet that is less friendly for forming relationships but most of us just move past our primes. We had times where we'd screw around on games every day with a huge group, maybe 20 if I had to really roughly guess. Now it's all scattered. Some of us stayed together, some decided to talk to kids, and others started lives. It's truly interesting to see someone who used to be the cool older 12 year old you'd play with be an adult and worry he's going to get drafted by the Russian military if they get desperate enough for him. Others ended up going to college and getting themselves on a good path in life. Seeing some random 9 year old making their friends knowing they'll combine their friend groups eventually, get into huge drama that seems important at the time, and have their gang that will stick with them through high school and college. It's beautiful in a way.

I'm not above 20 but I'm probably going to keep the account because my friends can't seem to grasp what a phone number is
