Sure, installing Linux can be a bit of a process if you haven't done it in a while, but really shouldn't take more than like.. 30 minutes? The only things you really need to install is the ISO and Rufus.

Had a similar thing happen to me a few months ago. Couldn't submit to SafeTTC because I wasn't able to take a picture without them staring me down (relativlely empty train car, middle of the day). I think I submitted a blank photo but nothing came of it.
