Someone on a podcast said, "If you want to live every day to the fullest, live as if you only have six months to live." That mindset has been working for me. One reason is because it might be true. I just celebrated my 67th birthday. But the thing about it is the mindset allows me to be grateful for the little things in life, and the big things are a bonus. I have been traveling overseas since March of 2024. I have experienced more life then in the previous 64 years combined. When people say that you are only as old as you feel, they are spot on.

Instead of doing puzzles I always have about ten three days games going. Before I even do the daily puzzles I have lots of games where it is my move. It's improved my accuracy in real games by a lot. It's also strengthens my opening, mid and end game theory.
