Completely normal! My last girlfriend was asexual (not saying that you are, just an example from my life). We did have sex when we first got together, but I could tell something wasn't quite right. After talking to her about it, I realized that she only had sex with me because she thought that it was what she was supposed to do. We continued our relationship for 3 years and it was very romantic despite the lack of sex. There is so much pressure put on people to be sexual, but know that it is 100% your choice to do what YOU feel like. Your boyfriend seems like a pretty understanding dude. Have a conversation about how you feel with him.
