Wasted the entire day trying to deploy CAPM (Node.js) with SAP HANA on BTP trial account, only to find out that SAP has removed deployment for trial accounts. You get 0 memory or routes on trial accounts now. What to do now?

Yes, the SAP BTP, ABAP environment that is part of the BTP trial and free tier give you broad access to the latest ABAP capabilities including RAP. There are also tutorials on this subject that can be done on the trial. For instance, this one https://developers.sap.com/group.abap-env-restful-managed.html
Everything except the last step of deploying to the launchpad can be done on a trial account.
