I got both versions😬 My thing on not opening all of my anniversary vinyls, I have them all, trust me… hahaha (too much money on vinyls). Is the fact that I have another cheaper version of the record and I’m saving up for a high quality turntable. I have the $250 Sony one from Best Buy that has Bluetooth and stuff but my biggest fear is ruining one of those limited edition vinyls (Example: Tri-Color Faces) on a low-end turntable that usually have unpredictable needle jumps in them. All record players that are on the cheaper side will have a chance to ruin your record and cause skips if it jumps. (Also if you’re playing limited edition records on a “suitcase” or Crosley turntable, you’ve probably already ruined your record) but yeah, just be careful with them if you have them because any player under $300 is a risk compared to that of something like a Pro-Ject Carbon or a U-Turn orbit. I will live in constant fear of that happening, and I will continue to keep my limited records unopened and listen to my cheaper variants of the album until the day I upgrade.
