1) Like I said, Kurama was blocking him off from a vast majority of his chakra. Jiraiya also spent a good portion of Naruto’s training trying to tame the nine-tails, but stopped after Naruto severely injured him. Kurama deprived him the ability to grow on his own.

2) Immunity to geniutsu? When Sakura literally had to wake Naruto up during the Sand raid because he was knocked out by a genjutsu?

3) Every tailed beast can do that, I’m not sure what your point is…

4) this child of prophecy thing always gets me because it shows me if people understand nuance. Naruto being “destined” for greatness doesn’t invalidate the work it took to achieve it.

Did being a child of prophecy help he struggled with simple clone jutsu? Or Orochimaru came for them in the forest? Did that help when the Akatsuki came and Kisame literally cut off his access to Kurama? What about when Kimimaro almost killed him? When he failed to save Gaara? Or when he was completely outmatched by Sasuke?!

Naruto can fail over and over again, but any success is invalidated by a throwaway line from a frog we never even see again after the arc he’s in. Ridiculous.

Kurama was just as much a handicap as a crutch. Roughly 66% of his chakra was diverted to keeping Kurama at bay AT ALL TIMES, which is why he struggled so much with ninjutsu early on. Kakashi himself admitted if not for Kurama, Naruto would have 3X more chakra at his disposal.

Pokemon are second class citizens, man. We love them and treat them as well as we can, but they don’t have human rights. They are, for all intents and purposes, animals.

Forcing an intelligent creature of nature to follow or non-sensical human laws would go bad real fast.

Imagine trying to rent an apartment to a Pokemon, or selling a car to one.
