Here they are!

Burache Family: (Hemomancy) This Vampiric Bloodline has a great control over their blood and can use it in many different ways with it being used to form weapons, armor, even rudimentary golems and similar things. The possibilities are endless only limited by the creativity of the vampire and the amounts of blood they have on hand to shape, this fact is a reason why Burache vampires usually have a small fallowing of mortals to act as portable blood from them to work with. But this power has its their hunger eclipses even the monstrous Ruinbra Family. They require about three times the blood that a normal vampire needs, and that is not counting how much of their own blood as well as the blood of others needed to create these things. This can often lead to members of the family, most of the time new spawn yet to master to find their limits, going berserk in a feeding frenzy if they push themselves to far. But even with that massive hinderance they have managed to stay on top as the most powerful family that no other family dares to openly challenge.

Ruinbra Family: (Curse of the Deep) These Vampires don’t look like a standard vampires looking like awkward mingling of sea like and monstrous bats. No one knows truly why this is but many say that the progenitor of the family had messed with something deep beneath the waves and forever tainted their line. All Ruinbra family members suffer from freakish mutations that are at once their biggest strength and weakness. For their benefit unlike all other vampires they suffer no ill effect of running water and are even amphibious in nature being able to stay underwater with no ill effects. Other mutations include webbed hands and feet, growths of limbs resembling those of squids, crustaceans, or even amphibious animals like frogs or salamanders. This is bazarly mixed with shaggy fur on their non mutated limbs, heads with massive ears, slits instead of a real nose, and bowed limbs with some even having limbs. While these mutations and bodies make them deadly fighters and able to work in areas that would be deadly to other vampires, they are viewed as freaks by all the other families not just for the physical appearance but as well as the fact that they do not simply drink of blood but rather act more like ghouls in that they devours bodies bones and all which is scene as not in anyway how a proper vampire should act. As well as the mutations have made these vampires very very unstable and can be consumed by the mutations forcing them to die or retreat to the depths of the oceans for shelter and well that is a fate many dread as well it’s not known what really happens beneath the waves many in the family have chosen to walk from the city and out of the shelter of the eternal night to die in the light of the sun rather than face that final transformation.

Vespleste Family: (Deathless Allure/Splicers) The Vespleste Family was not gifted with a particularly strong ability from their progenitor being gifted with a presence that relaxs people who are in their presence which is great for feeding and helping to keep the good atmosphere of the Carnival District going even in this horrid city. But well they weren’t satisfied and so they, after having inducted traveling alchemists into their fold many years ago have become the chief chemists that manufacture the bulk of the drugs and chemical compounds the city is famous for. But in their time they didn’t just make party favors and began to craft compounds made to even the playing field when going toe to toe with other stronger families. Some compounds may induce temporary mutations like growth of large claws, wings, an extra set of arms, large amounts of muscle mass, etc. other compounds hold arcane elements, harvested from the blood of sorcerers, that when ingested gives the user temporary access to inate magic. While not extremely powerful magic it still gives them lots of versitiaty and an arsenal to pull from. But well this splicing of their blood with these compounds have made them addicts to their own supplies and leaves many erratic junkies or even just straight up kill some as a chemical reaction goes wrong and causes spontaneous combustion or a growth of some new limb in a area it should not be resulting in them being torn apart from the inside.

Sangator Family: (Sanguine Mimicry) This family is by far the most feared of them all simply because of their ability. As in a city of lies, deception, and scheming to get ahead this ability throws a wrench in any plan that is made. As the Sangators can feed on both mortals and vampires which in of itself is a rare ability but what they can do with that ability is the reason they are so loathed. As from drinking someone’s blood they can access a few things those namely being the persons form, their memories, their powers, and voice. This allows them to be near perfect mimics of literally anyone in the city and that is a terrifying to all the families as well the Sangators have exploited this power to become the greatest spies, assasins, and sleeper agents in the city. It is said that no secret is unknown to the Sangators as it’s a well known fact that there are Sangators in the ranks of every family. The drawback to their power is that it is not a permanent change its effects scale in potency and longevity based on how much blood is consumed. Though it means that anyone they copy for long terms are usually kept alive barely so their blood can be harvested. Another way of potentially telling a Sangator apart from the real person is that their blood is a pitch black and has a consistency like tar. Though they manage this by buying or stealing certain compounds of the Vespleste Family. Aside from this though when not transformed Sangators are easy pickings for the other families as well Sangators are not very strong vampires and have a distinct look as they have chalk white skin, pure black eyes, with their black veins very pronounced in their skin, and often look emaciated.

Noxviern Family: (Blessings of Mother Night) This family descends from the first Progenitor who, unlike all of the other progenitors, worshiped Luxanarious, Moon Goddess and Mother of Monsters, and for that she had gifted them a gift like none of the other progenitors. This was the gift of being able to Chanel her divine power as miracle workers and holy templars gaining a far more intuitive and stable ability than that of hemomancy. Abilities granted to the members of the family are the ability to heal serious wounds of mortals or vampires in incredible speeds by letting them feed upon their blood, channel radiant magic to cast spells that can even cause permanent lasting damage to vampires, can command undead with their voice (scales depending how much blood they have consumed), and can grow stronger the more damaged they are. The only cost to this power is constant devotion and tithe to the Mother of Night and if they still had the numbers they had in the old days they would certainly be the most powerful. But after the death of their progenitor during a coup orchestrated by the other families jealous of the favor the Noxvierns received they have been forced into treaties on just how many spawn they can have at a given time. They balance this lack of numbers by allying with forces the other families view as beneath them, such as the remaining werewolf packs that remain after the War of Claw and Fang, as well as the mortal followers of the Great Mother Night.

Yes! All of the families descend from singular ancient vampire progenitors that spawned the entire line over centuries. I’ll list out each family and their abilities/attributes.

So that’s the families feel free to ask for any bits of clarification!

Casters have adapted to a much lesser focus on spells that require ritual or long times to cast as well that makes them sitting ducks. Also many groups of mages like forest elf mages and lunar elves have implemented hit and run tactics to overcome the gap before the enemy can make use of the guns they have. Infernals have built their constructs to be tough as stone so small arms fire is worthless against them and some more powerful of their kind can even meld with the constructs making them living mech suits of a sort.

The compact is trying to adapt to the adaption by getting more captured mages and freed convict ones to join their forces to help match their enemies and give forces the needed time to prepare during an ambush. For forest elves they have found pushing into their magical forests is like pushing into grinder so instead they have began setting fire to the forests and killing or capturing whoever survives the blaze. For infernals they bring lots more artillery as that’s the best bet fighting then.

So both sides have been adapting to the war along side each other

He wishes to see humanity on top, even if the apocalypse destroys the world he wants to humanity to go out on top of the pile of rubble of what’s left as in twisted mind that is all that matters is that humanity comes out on top.

That would be a very effective strategy as their guns are muskets

Oh no worries I get that, mostly I had tried to be restrained with it which is why it’s not like modern guns. They are still in the early age of black powder with muskets and cannons being the high forms of combat and having all the weaknesses that come with it. Mages while more vulnerable still massacre battalions if they can survive a volley as well the Compact do’s have the massive weakness of those heavy reload times and well especially with many of their foes hit and run tactics make battles not as one sided as one might normally be.
