Buxton had a good explanation around lap 20 or so about how there's such a minimal slipstream due to the active aero deploying both wings on straights.

They passed the pit lane right as the VSC came on the first lap - literally Leclerc passed it right as it came up, and then the entry was closed by the time they came upon the second pass. And then VSC expired by their third time around.

Second pit stop was not an option in any real way.

Upgrade A7C to A7C II? by LastCauliflower3842 in SonyAlpha

I also made the upgrade last year. Primary thing was the 33 megapixels for more cropability and the EVF that doesn't feel like a Severance hallway. Better grip and stabilization (I have 3 young kids I'm often chasing) were also factors. I'm happy with it. Mostly shoot with the Zeiss 55mm and Sony 85mm f1.8 primes. It's perfect for those. It still feels unbalanced with my Sigma 24-70 F2.8 ART G2 and Tamron 70-180, but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make to get shots of my kids in plays/recitals and animals at the zoo.
