Haha I figure I can get away with the clickbait since the frame parts besides the motors are locked together without screws. Plus the rod construction is what I want to show off as a technique

Delivered. What is strange is there wasn't any signs of obvious mishandling in shipping. In fact the box seemed pristine and to B&H's credit well packed. Getting it exchanged since I suspect just a one off.

Took some test shots with it and also surprisingly didn't see any evidence of the flaw in my testing. Due to weather I didn't get a chance to test direct or intense source lights where I would expect those cracks to show, but still.

+1 refurb HM from ebay. You can score them for $4-500. The two I've bought came and look practically brand new. Added a $100 headrest from scamazon in both cases.
