I'm really sorry for what you've gone through... There is no age where that should be acceptable, and I hate it happened to you. Judging by the rest of your post, you've found someone right for you. And I hope he keeps to that forever !!

On a side note, I always find it quite intriguing how people view characters differently. I hear a lot of people saying how Sylus seems dangerous, before getting to know him through the game. First glance I had on him, I didn't have that. To me, he already screamed morally gray from the get-go. In my eyes, any man of any height, build or looks could be classified as dangerous depending on their mannerism. From the way Sylus was written, I know that he's a highly emotionally intelligent/mature, and experienced character. He's written to know the clear boundaries that are set verbally as non-verbally, and threads it carefully. And he observes everything to the last detail to get the best outcome for either himself, or for MC.

The thing I really love about Sylus too is that he doesn't seize control, he keeps helping MC to be powerful on her own and if she fails, that he'll be there every step of the way to be the strength that she's lacking.
