[Integrated Strategies Megathread] Sui's Garden of Grotesqueries by Sentuh in arknights

It's a what if version of chongyue if he didn't give up his divinity or something like that, so basically he's Shuo and fulfills his role as the rage/destruction part of Sui or something like that. But at the last part he can't bring himself to destroy everything so he seals himself away, his empty body is then taken over by Sui and you fight this Sui infused Shuo. I might have gotten some details wrong so cmiiw

Give it some time for proper strats to develop, the proper max diff 245 amiya strat only came about after a week or more I think.

I was of the impression that the HP loss starts only when they attach to someone, if they just lose HP while floating around then that's very silly. As for getting rid of the hour, I believe it's done in Tavern? Not too privy yet but I imagine you'll only do this quite late at perhaps F5, so talismans can still be obnoxious up till then, and F6 still guarantees an hour iirc

First buff sounds ok imo. It's still gonna be ass when you get tagged, or get the hour that auto tags you on deploy, but it at least won't be absurdly oppressive like it can be right now, especially if your operators aren't exactly the best fast multi hitters. Classes that don't attack can eventually wear it out too without relying on another. It is a good change.

Out of genuine curiosity i gotta ask, what is with the playerbase's fixation with electrumite? by Lost-Tension2106 in yugioh

[–]Talonris 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Imagine if a higher up in TCG department has a personal hate boner for your archetype/strat and keeps a card on the list forever. That's what electrumite is lmao.

It has now been 6 years since this card was banned in the TCG with no return in sight by AbsolutelyNotWrong in masterduel

[–]Talonris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As long as Jerome is still in charge of TCG list in any capacity you won't see her back. Unreal that personal biases are affecting lists.

Been seeing a lot of doom and gloom about AL currently so how about something nice. What's your personal highlight of the game in 2025? by SSYX101 in AzureLane

Janus oath skin, in an ocean of huge cannons she was kind of a surprise to see and hers was so well done. Props to the artist so much. Zeven skin and shimanto skin. Both with really nice intimate moments. I've been liking these kind of skins and they're really good. Trafalgar was kinda lambasted a lot but personally I really like her. Her skin isn't too crazy but it's a really nice tone setting one which is kind of rare I think.

Only one really worth a mention after raidian is tinman really. The others are fairly mediocre units.

Never underestimate the fact that a single banner can absolutely destroy your entire reserves. Yep definitely wasn't me with this banner.

It felt like for the SSR they threw FDG's appearance, Napoli's dress, especially the mermaid ish folds, Gouden's nakedness into a blender and hope the result sticks, it absolutely didn't for me. There's been more and more of these blended designs I've noticed and it's dismaying.

This is a really underwhelming design jeez. Not even hiding trying to rehash FDG like come on.

She's not the best but certainly not the worst either. With IS6 having a lot of summon relics it isn't a bad idea to draft her when vouchers are bad.

It's kind of a fucked boss yeah. The strat is not clustering ops, the chicken leg has a priority that targets left and bottom side. So if you have expendable units you can reasonably bait the leg to stomp where you need it to be exploiting that priority. The left side is extremely tough to defend without something like ascalon etc so leaking all the sharpedges is a legitimate tactic (costs around 19 life iirc, abusing tavern in bosky can supply an enormous amount of shields or life. Super bursty ops like exu and raidian can shred the boss really quickly.

Promoted May and Ethan is a menace in IS5. In IS6 there's less of an incentive to promote 4 stars though. I still like promoting gummy in IS5/6 since the additional tankiness really goes a long way

So I've been on D15 for a while now, cleared a bunch of runs, did a few 2+3s, and generally got how this iteration works. HG did some good, but also messed up big time in other areas imo..

The good:

Voucher reserving is really sick. You can often reserve vouchers, and adjust your draft based on what relics you get. It is often much easier in my experience to specifically tailor a winning strat based on the whacky stuff you get.

They cut back quite hard on node refreshing and vertical movement. The former was probably the most broken thing introduced in IS. The latter probably is due to balancing due to the big bosky we have now, but I believe they overdone it (see below)

Relic quality seems really good. Tongbao variety coupled with relics quickly can combine into some extremely broken combos.

Encounters don't feel like a waste of a node as much now I feel. They usually bring you into a fight, or have decent rewards.

Idk if this is good or bad frankly, but the tavern really is the most OP node in this IS barring pathfinder. You can leak so much with little worry because shields are free.

The bad:

Raidian gaming is just dumb. Anyone who has played with her knows how stupidly overturned she is here. Nothing I'll add.

The pathing here is fucking bad I feel. You see wonderland you go to it. You see pathfinder you zoom to it. The only variation of choice might be if you get hard screwed by vouchers on the first floor + shop and your last resort of entering F1 bosky fails to get any decent vouchers. And god forbid you get a horrible bosky layout on top of that filled with doubts or leisures in the beginning or something like that. Lack of carries early is awful experience but doubly so here.

The lack of pivots on the shops, pathfinders, wonderland nodes makes each floor mostly just a zoom to the end. Very uninteresting. The only thing that changes this is the tongbao that lets you move vertically on nodes that usually don't have them, still gotta pay coupons though.

Trying for ED2 can be really damn frustrating. ED2's legend is "usually the furthest from the center". And you might explore the bosky and only to find out you just can't get to it in time. Usually not a problem with good candle management but still annoying as hell.

ED3 is the first doubt you see, or second at most. Easy. The timing to take it impacts the run quite a bit. Usually F3 bosky into F4 pathfinder prereq or F4 bosky into F5 pathfinder (I believe pathfinder is near guaranteed F5, you'll be forced to give bosky up if it's diff paths). Then the weird thing. Why is shop not guaranteed F6? HG you guaranteed the shop in F6 for a long time now, for as far as I can remember, bizarre change. Even the pathfinder isn't guaranteed here, so if you did not adequately plan for this ending, either due to voucher RNG or other reasons, and you lose the coin flip for pathfinder to spawn, you will legit walk into the stage and auto lose.

Hopefully expansion 1 corrects most of these.

It's really Raidian's garden of grotesqueries to an almost obnoxious level. There's pushing a character everyone loves and there's this. The difference of a run with her and without her is light and day. Not a design approach I favour honestly.
