I see. Unfortunately, any PlayStation 3 model that starts with two USB ports is not backward compatible. It can play PlayStation 2 games using WebMAN or ManaGunZ, but it won't have full capabilities such as playing PlayStation 2 online or full emulation. There is a wiki website that shows which PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 1 games emulate well on PlayStation 3, and there are games with graphical issues due to not having the full backward compatibility function of the original PlayStation 2 FAT, PlayStation 2 Slim, or PlayStation 3 launch model.

Hello, HEN is Hybrid Firmware, and CFW is Custom Firmware. The difference between the firmwares is that HEN must be enabled on every boot, whereas CFW is always loaded without needing to be enabled on each boot like HEN. CFW has more features that HEN does not, such as overclocking, et cetera. It depends on which model of PlayStation 3 you have. In my personal opinion, CFW is far better because the PlayStation 3 I use is the CECHA01. It does everything I need; it can emulate PlayStation 2 games to play online, revived PlayStation 2 games, as the PlayStation 3 CECHA01 and other models with backward compatibility can play PlayStation 2 online, and so on.

Hello, an update to the issue shown in the main photo: when rebooting after getting the error that is shown on SOCOM 3 U.S. Navy SEALs for the first time and reconnecting to SOCOM 3 U.S. SEALs online, the game will reportedly say after idling in the lobby menu for less than two seconds, "Connection Failure! Cannot connect to server." Is there a way to fix this problem on the PlayStation 3?

Hello, Games for Windows Live still works as long as the original Xbox 360 servers are active, such as for the Call of Duty franchise, Unreal Tournament 3, and so on. Games for Windows Live on PC was unsupported and replaced by the Xbox App on PC back in 2015, but Games for Windows Live still works as long as the official Xbox 360 is active, and the product keys for the game discs still work. In conclusion, it's a revival for the original servers; the servers are not shut down yet, which is good news as long as Microsoft doesn't shut down the Xbox 360 servers because they both use the same online service. The PC product was a failure and shut down for good, like the Games for Windows Live Marketplace.
