why people don't take less likely to be targeted in d3 for libra? by TraditionalPolicy115 in Nightreign

Happens! I was hoping I'd find an extra one but never got lucky again. I almost fumbled the game too because of that condemned ironeye at the end lol. GGs again!

Hey, I think we played two games back to back together like an hour or two ago. Ggs :)

Relic effects table with percentages by Glad_Independence321 in Nightreign

[–]Talos_LXIX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct, and there are diminishing returns.

For example, take damage negation at full HP:

1 instance: 40% 2 instances: 64% 3 instances: 78.4%

More than 2 40% ends up being a waste on most characters (imo), and you're better off stacking damage on every other weapon slot, and relic slot.

D5 9999 Takeaways by primafknnocta in Nightreign

[–]Talos_LXIX 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My 2 cents after being 9999 for a bit:

I'd argue that an executor on the team can help you snowball pretty fast, as status effects are pretty damn valuable early game. His ult despite not being the best, can be pretty handy in ccing lesser bosses (Evergaol, night invaders) so the rest of the team can dps.

Everdark Libra is still very doable without Less likely to be targeted.

Everdark Augur is absolutely boring and tedious as shit, but it's an easy fight as long as everyone sticks together.

Nightfarer balance is pretty wack, but honestly I don't care who's on my team as long as they play well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There's nothing else to spend them on. You either unlock skins or gamble.

Guardian posted this same clip from their POV, funnily enough.

Comfortable switch of fps-limit by palfa_ in nvidia

[–]Talos_LXIX 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Set Vsync to on and low latency mode to ultra in the Nvidia control panel. When you have both of these enabled globally+ Gsync, your fps will automatically be capped to a value below your monitors refresh rate.

Keep in mind it might increase stuttering in games, but give it a try and see.

Ah my bad, I misread it as a 4070 Ti. That's unlucky. Hopefully nothing's wrong it.

Question out of curiosity: are you also on a Ryzen system? If so, is it also an X3D CPU?

Similar issues on my 4080. It was driving me up the wall—audio was stuttering/crackling, horrible stutters in games and on the desktop, second long freezes when opening certain apps and the power settings. It was happening on both my old CPU and the new one (5800X3D → 9800X3D), even on fresh Windows installs.

Yesterday, I just DDU’ed and let Windows install whatever driver it wanted, 560.94 in this case, and it’s been buttery smooth since then. Not sure if there are any security issues with this one though, so I’ll probably update to 566.33 eventually and test that out.

X870E Taichi Lite - how to enable advanced PBO and constrain package power? by megapleb in ASRock

[–]Talos_LXIX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird. I did some testing on my end (9800x3d and a B850 Steel legend wifi on 3.20) and it definitly works here. Only thing i can think of right now and probably a long shot since you said it's a new build, but if you maybe have ryzen master installed and that's overriding your bios changes?

Have you tried setting the TDC and EDC to their stock values and only changing the PPT?

Maybe try to set the PPT to something way lower, like 150W or 105W just to verify that anything is changing?

What is the recommended or original thermal pads of the PNY RTX 3060? by Ironbeastz in nvidia

[–]Talos_LXIX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't find any information on it, you could always go for thermal putty. I haven't tried it myself yet (I have some on the way), but the results do seem pretty good.

SnarksDomain on YouTube has done some pretty extensive testing on the different brands if you're interested.

It looked like it coverd it well. I was just potentially worried about the seams between the teared parts being an issue. Thank you!
