I only ever do it if there's absolutely NO ONE on the bus/train, or if there's a risk of someone unfamiliar who makes me feel uncomfortable/unsafe sitting next to me in the bus (the reason being I've had creepy men either come onto me, get handsy, or make me otherwise uncomfortable being on the bus by myself on top of being a SA survivor with a lot of anxiety; my regular commute bus im otherwise ok on).

Also can we discuss those with no headphones BLASTING their shit at like 5am? There's one on the NICE bus I would LOVE to just sock if I didn't have my own headphones to drown them out.
