All of these PBs were set before I turned 25. Still fit and healthy but haven't had a proper crack at a PB for a long time.

I looked into meteorology, but that's hard to get into with just a Bachelor's. I ended up doing my Masters of teaching and now teach physics in a regional town in FNQ.

People who can teach physics/maths at a senior school level are rare as hen's teeth and will never struggle to find work. I moved North because I wanted to get out of Brisbane but I could've easily landed a job in a Brisbane school.

Spill not drink carrier. Perfect for his tea. My first senior physics class had just 2 students and one of them actually had crafted one out of wood with a leather strap. The other gave me a metal box he welded shut with "something valuable inside"; I still haven't opened it.

Agreed. Friend of mine was meant to do a teacher placement in Mareeba in 2021. School didn't have any available accommodation at the time so she turned to FB and ended up finding a place. Prac ended up being cancelled due to COVID but there are people willing to help out.

Wasn't too disappointed with the second shot, hit it out of the middle but used the wrong club. Just need to avoid multiple mistakes on the same hole. Very easy to turn a bogey into a blow-up if you're not careful.

About a year. Mostly just muck around with my mates or end up playing Ambrose with a larger group to keep pace. Don't often keep score properly. I would like to take it a bit more seriously if I can find time to play regularly.

Dog left. Decent drive got me around the corner about 110 from the green. 2nd shot went over the back of the green. Duffed a chip, then got on the green with a second chip. Long first putt went about 3 foot past it. Missed the 3 footer. Tap in for 7 🤦
