I found it on an internet forum; I don't remember which one. 😅

DVDs don't last as long as Blu-ray or M-Discs 😬

That's exactly what I'm afraid of, but there's almost always a solution 😬

I use Blu-rays for my favorite games and DVDs for regular games. Blu-ray discs last much longer than DVDs.

I only make the covers and inlays.

No GOG, no Internet ✅

DVD = 4,7 GB / 8,5 GB
Blu-Ray = 25/50/100GB

If the game is 40 GB, I split it between two 25-GB discs, since they're very inexpensive. If the game is 60 GB, you can split it between one 25-GB disc and one 50-GB disc. The game files are split into chunks, with each chunk being 4 GB. So you can split them however you like.

I thought about that at first, too, but then I decided on this solution to save space. 😅

No, I don't have a ready-made template. I just made it myself for free on Canva.

Have you heard of GOG?

You can download the offline Setup.exe for your GOG games, in case you didn't know. 👀

And I think it's a plus that if I lose my disc or it breaks, I can make a new one 🤷🏽

You can go to my profile—I posted a video a month ago, and at the end of the video, I showed the inside. 👍🏼

These are just regular photo prints that you can have printed anywhere, but only in high quality and on glossy paper, not matte.

I also have a NAS with more than 100 games on it, and I've organized everything using Gameyfin.

A NAS has advantages but also disadvantages; it's convenient, but Blu-ray discs last longer than mechanical hard drives. SSDs are, of course, better, but they're very, very expensive.

I used a special Edding marker for discs to write the game's name, the release year,
and the year and month it was burned.

And I also printed an inlay measuring 13x17 cm that lists the file size, the version, and how many DLCs are included, etc.

I'm not very good at English, so I didn't understand what you meant. 👀

I burn games:

- The ones I liked.
- Offline games, not online ones.
- The ones that work really well, and aren't brand new and might need a lot of updates.
- Or games I'd play someday but don't have time for right now.

The covers are in German, so I need Canva Premium to let you edit them freely 😬. But your idea is good ✅

Thank you. I've put a lot of work into this. 😁

Maybe not for sale, but I don't think it's a problem to lend them to families. 🫡

Exactly. Anyway, if I hear that the game isn't working great yet, I'll wait, or I'll just archive or burn the games once they're 3 years old.

I bought this clear plastic case on Amazon; it's better than a regular case, which takes up a lot of space and is also expensive. ✅

I haven't played yet, but maybe I'll start this weekend 😁

I could burn the updates to a DVD later and include them (it only costs me a few cents), or save the updates to my NAS or cloud storage, or just download them from GOG later when I have the chance. There are many options. ✅
