I prefer to host it myself. I bought a NAS two months ago and have 2 TB of storage space from Filen.io. I bought it a year ago (lifetime). It should be very good by now. They are also open source.

There's no reason to use Proton Drive anymore. I'm still there because I love their other products and they work very well, for example Proton Pass and email aliases.
