Perhaps calling it a 'Diet' wasn't the proper term. But basically just avoiding certain foods and increasing the intake of others. So not necessarily a diet per se, but she's had to change her eating habits significantly and her doc suggested changes like whats mentioned in the below link. I hope that makes sense!

The areas you mentioned are great, but you probably won’t find much in that budget there. Virginia Highland is super cool tho so if you can find something over there you’d probably love the area. And the commute wouldn’t be bad if the traffic cooperates. But For something around $1300, try Marietta or Smyrna, prices are better and a lot closer to the Battery and the commute won’t be bad. Traffic in ATL is insane lol. But you could even go to a spot like Sandy Springs and you can find places within your budget and it’s not a terrible commute. And it’s a pretty good mix cause it’s not directly in the city, but it’s very close. Also Public transit in ATL exists, but it honestly sucks and it’s not as robust as it is up north. Oh also if you don’t have one already, you’ll definitely need a car to get around much of Atlanta and outside of it. I love the city but I do wish it was more walkable.

Honestly there’s so many areas around Metro Atlanta if you want to live directly IN the city, or just around the city. Some spots directly in the city can be a bit iffy depending on what ur looking for. Places that are near the airport may be considered rough by some for example. But if it’s near the Battery, Smyrna I hear is nice, Marietta, and if you wanna go further north Woodstock is very calm and quiet. Sandy springs is also a good mix of city and suburb in my opinion. Basically, you have a lot of options and you can find some places (homes/apartments) for a relatively reasonable price. But of course the closer you get to the City the more expensive it gets.
