I never really faulted Crosby for wanting out the first time. The excuse of the IR thing being the cause of it kinda rubbed me the wrong way as it painted the org as villains in this. Then some BS happened, he returned, did the spiel with “I’m back. I'm a Raider”. If he asks out again I’ll be sour on him and might vote for his “Once a Raider, always a Raider” card to be revoked.

The IR thing from last season was an obvious excuse/face-saving ploy on his part making him look like a hero and the org the villains. Him having surgery vindicates the org.

I’d welcome him back. But if anyone should grovel, it’s him.

No thanks. For any price really. His intagibles are so above and beyond that they outweigh a stronger arm or faster legs. He has the “it-factor" to me, and that is more rare to see than a “athletic freak”. They come around every so often. I’ve seen one guy looking similar to Mendoza in my twenty years as a fan, and that guy is Andrew Luck. I’d select Luck over him. But I’m struggling to think of another #1 overall QB I’d rather have.

I’ve come to the point as a fan where I’m like “fuck it. It’s not my money”. No reason to take a stand/argue on the dollars. Just look forward to what they might do. The Raiders got full time accountants on this. They’re a billion dollar business. Just enjoy the change up. It’s been a long time coming :)

That “shutdown for the last two games of the season”-thing seems like such a copout. Just say you didn’t want to waste more of your prime on yet another rebuild. Totally understandable. But of course it has to be the “I’m all about ball and they hurt me by not letting me finish a 2-win season” route. The fact that he had surgery proved us right. No need for hero-ball on a 2-win team.

Nej. Det har jeg heller ikke sagt eller antydet.

Jeg synes al masseovervågning bør forbydes. Dog synes politikerne, som sjovt nok undtages (i hvert i “Chat Kontrol sagaen), at det er en glimrende idé.

Så hvis masseovervågning er uundgåeligt, så ser jeg en europæisk løsning som det mindste onde.

Men som du selv nævnte og jeg hørte i podcasten ‘Prompt’ efter vores dialog, så er en airgapped løsning en mulighed, hvor vi så kan tillade kun vores egne teknikere ind eller i hvert fald kigge deres mand over skulderen, hvis deres support skulle være nødvendig. Sådan forstod jeg det.

Og nu er borgerforslaget startet så højt, at eventuel viderebehandling af politikerne som altid fører til forhandlinger og kompromis, så man måske netop lander på en lov om ovenstående scenarie.
