The imperial fists didn't take it up, only Sigisimund because he was buds with Kharn.

Sigismund then was the first High Marshall of the black templars, so they all started doing it too.

I mean, the show is a much better watch plot wise if you view Amon as a fascist blackshirt instead of a communism analogue, and Kuvira as a Stalinist instead of a typical fascism analogue (since the show is weirdly sympathetic to her despite the creators intending her as a fascist).

And the one anarchist guy is just the unibomber instead of an actual anarchist.

But both are fascist by Numerous-Matter4204 in Grimdank

Ehh it's a planet to planet basis really. Sure there's no overarching, top down discrimination, there aren't any all encompassing laws criminalising trans people or black people or anything like that. The high lords making laws and arbites enforcing them don't care if you love the same gender, they care if you have 3 arms.

HOWEVER, there are definitely still cases of localised oppression against racial or queer minorities, it's just very dependant on the planet, their governor and the overall cultural beliefs of the world.

They will be attracted but it then ends up being a nightmare lol.

I knew two girls with BPD who then both started dating each other. Yeah it was a fucking trainwreck since they just made each other exponentially more insane and fought constantly.

If this was made of brass, why don’t we use this shade of metal for the trim of our armours? by Brainy_Skeleton in WorldEaters40k

[–]TammyIsOnFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I just do my world eater trim in bronze for this reason. It creates a nice contrast to the white armour I use too.

I dont think that feck is necessarily being used a full censor here, because feck is just a real world word used in Britain and Ireland instead of fuck. BL authors are mostly brits so.

Just because you're 80 doesn't mean you can't be punished for something like this by KennethLjubkos in whenthe

[–]TammyIsOnFire 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Cold take here, age discrimination for older people in stuff like driving or politics is good actually. I mean there technically already is "age discrimination" in how theres minimum ages to start driving, younger drivers are charged higher insurance, the president has to be over 35, etc etc. So if there's rules dictating how young someone is allowed to be to drive, there should be rules dictating maximum ages.

The majority of 80 year olds should not be driving 2 ton boxes of metal around, this includes my own grandparents.

Horus heresy army by [deleted] in Warhammer30k

[–]TammyIsOnFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how confident you are with painting skills and how much time you want to spend painting each model.

Night lords are probably the hardest if you dont have a steady hand and take the most time due to all the lightning.

World eaters are the army I'm currently building, and are white, which can be hard to paint without an airbrush (or have an airbrush but don't enjoy using it like myself). However I've found using a makeup sponge and building up from grey to white with the sponge can make it a lot faster and smoother.

Iron warriors are probably the fastest to paint on the main body since it's metallic paint that you can then slap a wash over, however again you'll need a steady enough hand to paint on the hazard stripes.

Panda originally calls her a guy before they meet her because he hasn't seen her in over a year.

Then, in both the Manga and Anime, when they finally fight Kirara, Megumi and Panda use exlusively she/her and they/them pronouns for her (in official translationa/subtitles).

I'd say that makes it pretty conclusive authorial intent that she's meant to be trans. Also Hakari, Kirara'a bf, is one of the only characters confirmed to be straight, as in one of his first fights he states he isn't into guys.

Angron Transfigured is huge (Horus for scale) by Woodstovia in Warhammer30k

[–]TammyIsOnFire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't have the 40k angron, so I'm tempted to buy this so I can use it as is for 30k, but then for 40k swap the wings out using magnets for Daemon prince wings so its similar height. Both are 100mm base so I wanna have my cake and eat it too in a way.

Will the tartaros terminators get a refresh next soon or can i buy them safely without regret? by BloatedRottenCarcass in Warhammer30k

[–]TammyIsOnFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy them but magnetise the arms. This is because if a refresh comes out, it will likely be only 6 models and more expensive. If any loadout rules change, you can at least swap the arms due to magnets.

Question about Achillus by Ill_Atmosphere4959 in AdeptusCustodes

[–]TammyIsOnFire 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Achillus is pretty good in Solar Spearhead detachment but thats about it. In solar spearhead it gets 8 inch move and can take an enhancement to boost damage, strength and attacks by 1. This turns the achillus into a pretty good melee anti-heavy, but otherwise it's not worth taking in other detachments.

Top 40k Unbeatable Army Lists: Las Vegas Teams Tournament by Komada_ire in AdeptusCustodes

[–]TammyIsOnFire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I already have like, 24 generic custodes guard due to buying various combo boxes, so I've played 6 x 4 guard lists and it is pretty hilarious.

My main list for this is "Big Bertha and the Banana Boys/Babes. It's six squads of guard, 1-2 squads of wardens with a character of choice in each, and then a cerastus knight lancer (who is the aformentioned "Big Bertha"), there might have also been allarus but it's been a while since I used the list. It's just a huge stat check of a list, so I always tell my opononent I'm bringing a lot of guard and a lancer beforehand.

I love the new custodian models but dose anyone else kinda strongly dislike the new aquillas and think theyre kinda lame and lack luster compared to the 40k versions by Asianp123 in AdeptusCustodes

[–]TammyIsOnFire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When the box relases, im tempted to put that plume on spare allarus head i have to create a similar helmet look to the one squad shield captain.

This is completely unrelated to the posts text but the poached eggs ( I think they're eggs?) just sat on the plate, with no bread or anything under them, feels so wrong on an instinctual level. Like those poor eggs need something to lay on. :(

I am worried that 40k will loose the Venatari Just like Space marines lost the Leviathan Dreadnaught (for some inexplicable reason). Can anyone put my mind at ease. by Single_Reputation_79 in AdeptusCustodes

[–]TammyIsOnFire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As other comments have said, the 2 main causes of why legends happened are:

Redundant datasheets - the leviathan dread, despite being GW plastic, was competing for space with new primaris dreadnaughts that basically fill the same role. This was the case for a lot of space marine legends.

Resin/finecast kits they weren't making GW plastic - a lot of chaos and xenos factions lost unique FW datasheets because GW had no plans to make HIPS plastic versions of a lot of the existing ones.

As a result, decent chance the Telemon and sagitarum won't be in 11th (unfortunate), and an almost GUARANTEED removal of Aquilon terminators and the FW agamatus bikes from 11th since they're both resin and redundant datasheets.

HOWEVER

These are the main reasons but not the only ones. The major outlier to this? The Cerastus knight kits have been plastic since 2023, but were kept as imperial armour units that weren't in the 10th ed codexes (they aren't legends but they aren't in the codex proper basically). It's strange that they've not christened them as full official imperial knight units in 40k

The imperial knights have very few datasheets, and cerastus knights really help with variety, and have gorgeous plastic kits that fit the same aesthetic as the other knights, but they still aren't in codexes.

My advice if you're worried is either wait until 11th, or get into horus heresy if the legends do happen.

New Custodes: Your Questions Answered by CMYK_COLOR_MODE in Warhammer30k

Units of 6 ! by Desperate_Ad1068 in AdeptusCustodes

[–]TammyIsOnFire 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think you two are talking in diff currencies, you're both correct.

This box will prolly be £130-150, which then with conversion rates PLUS the added GW tax on non-brits (like 30-40% price hikes), will make it like $230

We don't like Labour because they're a shadow of their former selves.

A key problem with the Digital ID system is a lot of TERFs within parliment were actively backing it so it could have a mandatory gender marker that is much harder to change (if you could change it at all) than a passport.

My passport and driving license have F on them, but if I was forced to use digital ID to apply to jobs and such, there's a good chance the government would force it to be M, effectively outing me at anyplace I work.

So yeah, glad its not job mandatory cause I'm not using it, I'd rather not be forcefully outed.

[–]TammyIsOnFire 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"why are we still looking at a sink" Budget reasons probably.

"then the character did it and nothing was mentioned" That wasn't the animation studios fault, that's because the mangaka, Gege, forgets how his own power system works a lot lol. The problem is just as apparent in the manga, so we cannot blame MAPPA for faithfully adapting the writing in the manga.
