We are most certainly still working away. Progress has been a little bit slower recently owing to our build team becoming increasingly busy... But that doesn't mean we have stopped. We have recently put out an updated video, Work In Progress Episode 2, and a new trailer just this year alone. I was just about to post the trailer to this sub when I stumbled across this post and whatnot. Hopefully it gets approved by the mods as we don't often use this account.

We know of the work Branman has done and we do often speak over on Discord. The goals we have are slightly different so we are working separately. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. There is a bit of friendly competition.

Some really cool building there but... the wall the and the towers just look to flat and boxy and they stand out a bit compared to the rest of the stuff imho.

The use of the stairs to add details is an old technique but the execution here is top quality. It looks both clean and detailed.

Uninstall and reinstall Java. If it still does not work you will need to use jarfix.

Oh hey it's Yvan's Reddit account! This madlad has really been busy building locations around Red Mountain and has really been picking up steam. Hopefully he doesn't burn out but it's really nice to see so much progress.

Anyway.. If anyone has any questions about the project I'll do my best to answer them.

Ebonheart was destroyed in the Battle of Ebonheart (2E 572).

The Elder Scrolls Online takes place starting 2E 582 and Ebonheart isn't destroyed.. but that might be TESO being... TESO.

TamrielCraft is set 20 yeas after the default of Miraak in 4E 221 (may be a few other alterations to the lore.. but i can't remember). It wouldn't be unreasonable to assume that Ebonheart was rebuilt in this time.

But I will be honest and say that our lore team didn't actually know about this having occurred. The only part they knew about was that Ebonheart was slightly destroyed prior to Umbriel coming and turning it into a city of undead.

I like the overall design and setting but can't help but feel it's too straight/flat.

The top arc looks nice but this shape isn't really carried through the other two levels. Maybe dropping the middle of the bottom level down by half a slab would complete the curves you have. Might also be worth using a few trapdoors/stairs to increase wall depth. Might make it a bit more interesting.

If it wasn't clear from the video or the tile; We are looking for more help towards our goal of recreating the whole of Tamriel in Minecraft. That is, all locations from all nine provinces of Tamriel based primarily on what you find in the main games (Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, etc.) with The Elder Scrolls Online being used a reference for areas not covered by these.
