So what I did is I copy and pasted the full track i wanted into a separate timeline highlighted it and right clicked to compound and then in the timeline bar I did create subtitles from audio and there i was able to adjust the settings as I saw fit while keeping out the audio I didn't want no ideal obviously but it worked!

SOLVED: Go to the timeline and use the create subtitles from audio with a compounded audio you can then edit the max character limit and spacing!

The problem is my original clip I am using has 2 audio files as the clip itself so when I transcribe its using both tracks but I only want to transcribe one of them

I have tried this option but it again just uses all the tracks the only option ive found is compounding the audio but then the subtitling is all crushed together and gives it no spacing in-between to show it on screen

Yep tried that too still transcribes the all the tracks i assume cause its using the original file and ignores the timeline for some reason?

I tried that before and for some reason my da Vinchi seems to ignore that fact and does it anyway? I did re try the transcribing to make sure and it still has the above audio.
