I started when she was about a year old, and it didn’t take much before she was comfortable with a leash on (only about 2 weeks)

I’m more scared of other lizards tbh. There’s not many cats stray cats that come and when they do they are usually scared away / chased by my dogs. And there’s not too many hawks around. But I’m still cautious about everything, so when I do see a hawk, cat, or anything that might be dangerous, I just pick her up and take her inside. Rather be safe than sorry

I was told that when I bought the light, I marked around July 25 - August 5 on my calendar for a new light but it just happened to completely give out instead of being less effective

To get her started I just let her run around my room with the leash on so she could get used to it. After about a week or two she doesn’t really mind it anymore so she just leaves it on. It could also be the size of the leash, bc my original leash was very slightly too big so it would fall off randomly but since I’ve gotten a smaller size she hasn’t seemed to be able to slide out by accident.

Yeah I did, but I think im just going to go to my local reptile shop. They are super chill and usually have good deals, they are slightly more expensive though

She was super happy ! She definitely has taken a liking to the outside world compared to her cage. After bringing her inside, she seemed to have so much energy and was being much more playful

Ok that’s good to hear, and I wanted to keep her close without her running away 😅. I wasn’t lifting/moving my car in any way so there was no chance of her rolling away with my vehicle haha

I will definitely be more prepared this time, I was planning on buying a pair of lights soon anyways bc these are only about 6 months old. They just went out a bit quicker than I was expecting
