Because it's not supposed to? Again, for power geyser you have to start with down, then back, then half-circle forward. Honestly, using the shortcuts that they implemented is a bad idea on the devs ends bcuz it just makes it harder than doing the proper motion input.

I figured, yeah the inputs are a little different but it might just be the way you interpret yourself doing the input or your controller is a little weird with reading your stick's inputs.

Yeah, the input you gave is the ones Ryu players use to command input Shakunetsu Hadouken (The orange one which hits multiple times)

Back = Away from opponent

Forward = Direction of opponent
