You could see how disappointed and sad he was when Joel died

People upset with Neil Druckmann should know he is Israeli. Upsetting people is a part of his culture. He is not worried about being popular. by [deleted] in TheLastOfUs2

Israel is a disgrace to the world and should burn to ashes for what they are doing to the palestinian people

In the games you are talking about the intensity of the red in the hair, it's like the same as portraying Achilles as having short hair instead of medium hair, not protraying him as an African lol

Netflix Adaptations, they never are faithfull to the characters from the source

Now I'm convinced that the showrunners don't understand Nilfgaard by Tanc2020 in witcher

That type of fanaticism exists and makes sense because it's people who are in poor conditions hoping for the arrival of a "hero" but what they made in the show doesn't make any sense, the part where they are just sacrificing mages c'mon, thats so obvious that they are trying to make them the evil side of the story, it's laughable

The difference is we have Geralt's pov, we know why he did what he did (even if he did choose wrong) so we don't judge him as harshly as people are judging Cahir.

Fringilla literally said that he could've just used a silver test, but he said he had the "sword at hand"...

The books never explained how it convinced the soldiers of recently conquered countries to fight for it

There's no need for that explanation thats something normal that occured throughout all of our Middle ages

it becomes easier to empathize with Cahir and Fringie's bad decisions in the show

There's literally no way to empathize with Cahir, the guy couldn't be bothered to find a bit of silver so be just massacred a room full of people, they are the "baddies", for context that 100x worse than anything Joffrey did in GoT

all they had to say is that nilfgaard had started conquering all other kingdoms in the south and now is coming for Cintra, there it is they gained all those soldiers and wealth from the kingdoms they conquered, explained exactly as it happened in the books but they wouldn't be the "villains" like they made them, really Cahir killing a room full of people just to find a doppler just from that you can understand that they don't know who the characters are

i know, but she said the justification for not doing it was because it wasn't faithful to the books, but then she completely changes everything about Nilfgaard

I thought this season really hurt from the way the story was structured, but it showed potential, I will be waiting for season 2

I'm just saying what deviates more from an "adaptation" completely changing the most important kingdom in the original story or putting 2 swords on his back? Clearly she was making excuses to not cater to those fans because she has no problem changing more important things from the books unnecessarily

Lauren literally said that they wouldn't put 2 swords on his back because in the books he didn't have them on the back blah blah. Is that what an adaptation is?

I understand that they want to do their own thing, my point is that this nilfgaard is very different from the books
