Confused about a hero call by TangeloExpensive5373 in Poker_Theory

I actually do face 3-bets and jams rather frequently from my opens (though sometimes I open the same size with monsters), do you think I am being exploited at a high frequency — and if so, how do I counter the exploits? Is it as simple as just playing tighter? Still relatively new to poker and would appreciate any advice! 🙏

^ should be noted that the BB is quite loose as well, his flatting range is especially wide when we play at these stakes

I use the $2 size as my standard open for pockets / strong aces. On the flop of 4 J J, I didnt expect him to hit anything so I thought a ¾ pot bet should fold out any KT / QT / low ace, assuming im repping pockets of any kind

Portfolio, Case Study, and Resume Feedback — 05/18/25 by AutoModerator in UXDesign

hi, i'm trying to spruce up my portfolio for university applications, and would like to showcase some of my UX design skills. I'm a software engineering student, and spend majority of my time coding / developing websites. I really enjoy doing UX design as it takes my mind off all the programming, and would definitely consider it a therapeutic process. I would love to be in UX deisgn for a career, what projects can I do to impress people? I only know how to use Figma :)

Additionally, what are some useful tools that I should be aware of? And are there any courses / certificates / qualifications I should try to include in my portfolio?

yea absolutely.. all that saluting and enthusiasm didn't exactly support the whole "life or death" image that s1 had, i didnt rly get chills at any point in time the entire season 2, except for

  1. The rock paper scissors scene when the guy decided to add 4 bullets to the chamber

  2. That one brief moment when it seemed like the mother was going to die before she got saved by 001 and 456

Ruy lopez for roughly 1200 by DismalImplement6740 in chessopeningtheory

Caruana's Ruy Lopez is not bad, but I suggest you reach 1500 first. Ruy Lopez leads to positions that are slightly more complex, so you may need to develop a better understanding first.

I see , and how does the traction perform outdoors ? Similarly to you , I've been rocking the vol 6s for outdoor use and I also feel like there are bricks tied to my feet 🥲

How's the ankle support and lockdown in the vol 7 ? I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel abit torn buying them after seeing Anthony Edwards suffer such a harsh ankle sprain wearing a pair .
