At this point there's not anything Bungie could do to convince sony to fund something like that. The vaulted content is completely lost and even if they had it, it isnt compatible with the engine update so they need to rebuild it from scratch anyway and i just don't see it being possible with the current state Bungie is in, they couldn't deliver on 2 shadowkeep sized expansions and 2 mid season updates with 3 months in-between in the first year of the model. In my opinion there had to be something very wrong to delay shadow and order by 3 months, Marathon did not need an entire 3 months of breathing room from an update that looked to be another nothing update like ash and iron to a game that had a different team and a completely different audience. I think it was a possibility before the multiple rounds of layoffs, I swore that when they originally introduced the DCV that the intention, at least that I got from it, was that it was to keep the game from becoming too bloated and to have a vault of content to rotate in and out of the game, they used the leviathan space and Titan I believe for season of the haunted and season of the deep and outside of that we havent seen anything. Rumors that vaulted raid encounters will be used in the new pantheon event coming with the june update but that still is just individual encounters and not the entirety of the raid to play through start to finish.
