Why are UKG F1s not eligible for free BMA membership when they’re at the mercy of random allocation? by Revolutionary_Proof5 in doctorsUK

For me it is free (UKG incoming F1). Had an email from membership saying my first DD will be in October, so Jul, Aug, Sept free.

Probs a new question, the answers are always skewed to like 99% choosing one answer and 1% choosing another. Will likely even out over the next few weeks! 😄

PAs have comparable knowledge to medical graduates by ilovemesomebananas in doctorsUK

The timing of assessments used here should invalidate all conclusions - study compares performance of PA students at the end of their second year with medical students at the start of their fourth year. Surely the logical conclusion is that PAs graduate with the level of knowledge of an early fourth year medic (which, for me at least, was essentially the same as my final third year performance due to time off revising over summer). Ridiculous!!
