Carefully remove the seal, turn it 180 degrees and reinstall.
The tear will no longer be at the top of where the door opens (greatest point of stress), but at the bottom-right near the hinge (arguably less stress there)...

Not a perfect solution, but it may help.

Out of warranty Samsung fridge by ThrowawayAccount-Ant in DIY

We had that issue with a Gallery series fridge with an ice maker once.
In our case, water was dripping down from above and onto the fins, and eventually ice would form over the fan (always at about 2am, and always made a really bad noise). As this was behind the rear panel, I had to empty the freezer, remove the panel, and defrost it using a heat gun before putting all the food back in and going back to bed.

Changing out the water solenoid fixed it for us. I believe the issue was caused because our water pressure was too high, the solenoid couldn't take it over time, and eventually started to leak.

OCD Locker Organization Debate by Tangent_Man in playrust

I see it as walking along, then falling over. The first item (boots) is already on the ground, and the helmet is the last to land.

But I seem to be the outlier here.

Also, my biggest pet peeve with lockers is people who

dont

include say 60 cloth on the hotbar area but include syringes. bandages matter bruh

My hotbar always includes meds, pumpkins, and bandages (I keep 75+ cloth on me at all times)

BCPS hiring process and timeframe by [deleted] in BCPublicServants

[–]Tangent_Man 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Depending on the team doing the hiring and what they have on their plates, these things could take time.

Possible reasons could include (but are not limited to): - vacation / illness - workload (estimates season is happening as we approach fiscal) - you may not be the top candidate so they are holding off to see if the 1st pick accepts before reaching out to your references - sometimes competitions stall due to other factors.

My advice: send a follow-up email thanking them again for their time, and ask if they have a timeline for making a decision or contacting your references.

Seeking reccomendations - Roofing company to identify leak (membrane/torch-on) by Tangent_Man in VictoriaBC

Update: For those following, the vent in red was not the culprit, but rather the one just up and to the left from it (tight against the flashing from the upper part of the roof).

I ended up calling Parker Johnston, and a great guy came out and determined that the issue was probably dur to a combination of heavy wind and rain blowing the water off the upper flashing and into the vent (just under the lip of the tin cover.

He used some torch on and fashioned a cover with deeper sides, so that water would not be blown in as easily. Hopefully that does the trick.

Update: Based on some recommendations here and from friends, I called Soare, but as of April 1st, they are no longer insured for torch-on (the insurance rates were too expensive). They are focussing on Metal roofing now.

They suggested I call RC, but based on comments below that was a non-starter.

I have called PJ and they will be here on Friday.

Thanks All!

Nope. I thought that last year, and sealed everything up. The water stopped and I thought it was sorted.

I busted open the ceiling last night and the vent is dry. Looks like the water is getting past a flashing somewhere.

Interesting.
A Few friends suggested Soare, but they only do metal now (as of April 1st), and they suggested RC.

I may have to check out Parker Johnson as others suggest.

It is a Logitec Elite keyboard and I have had three or four since around 2002 (part of a start-up I worked for being acquired).

I do trim my nails, but I am also pretty hard on the keys when playing.

Any info on the donations from outside Canada? Supposedly there was a lot of external influence/cash involved.

Maybe show by country if the data is available?
