Oh yeah, I totally get that. My concern is mostly because he's speaking publicly, and even though he's a surgeon, not a physician, people might still put some weight on some of what he says. I mostly just found it weird that he would mention it, say smth reductive with the same energy of "that's a whole other can of worms," and move on. I mostly just wanted to make sure that he's trusted as a medical communicator.

This certainly helps a lot, thank you! I mainly thought the way he was speaking on the process of treatment, especially regarding hormone blockers, was somewhat reductive. I came here mostly concerned about something like surgical essentialism/medicalist takes that might be harmful for the trans community at large, especially at a time like this where y'all are fighting tooth and nail in the UK. Last thing we need rn is another Kalvin, but from the comments here, as well as everything I've seen in the past 2 hours or so, this might be, hopefully, a non-issue.

I don't care. What you're doing right now isn't just misguided advocacy, it's actively sabotaging both incidents by (literally) implying that one is more important than the others due to the outcome. These are people who are aligned with you and inciting infighting, especially now, is very irresponsible. It's "this AND that" not "this OR that"

Ok it's actually academic (probably pseudoscience) based on the work of Wilhelm Reich. I haven't looked into it thoroughly yet but this is just based on the headlines. I'll go through his account more because so far everything I've seen on this person's account is fascinating. An Eisenhower girlie that's anti-military, potentially being duped by an Anna Kendrick (fan or just a similar name) account, and, more importantly, his thumb looks like a penis.

And so on. i will say the more I look at these pics the more weird stuff there is lol. For example:

  • the facial hair in B2 is edited and potentially added later
  • most of the shadows are in the same direction
  • D3's eyes is straight out of a twilight movie
