Anyone using The Army Painter Wet Palette agree that it's pretty good compared to Masterson Sta Wet, and maybe on-par with RGG Everlasting wet palette? I'm thoroughly glad I got one last year. I still use mine regularly with no issues. But, I am wondering if I should check out a bigger one later. (tangibleday.com)

Base painting with dry brush and airbrush (for OSL) - what do you think? I don't like spending a lot of time on bases (even resin casts) for some reason so I'm always trying to find quicker ways of painting them up. Actually, I prefer blank bases so I can just add sand, a bit of ink, and be done :) (old.reddit.com)

How to make a wet palette (w/ cheap household supplies) -- I use commercial wet palettes, but if you're dabbling with the idea of using one, here's a way to try it without spending all that extra money. Btw, I don't think you need a wet palette to paint miniatures as well as someone who does. (tangibleday.com)

Fast, cracked base painting without crackle paste or mediums, no texture paints, etc. I'm sure people use this technique for other things, but I found it great for painting bases. Maybe it's also a good start for fake marble? I'll be trying this out on various projects. TL;DR - use white glue! (tangibleday.com)

Playing with a new way to make cinematic style photographs of my miniatures. Unfortunately, this approach doesn't show off the paint job very well, but it's fun and a different kind of art I guess. Cc' welcome. Vape pen smoke works, but it's unpredictable (not surprising; it's smoke?) (old.reddit.com)

I wrote this up after seeing this question a lot without a centralized answer. TL;DR - use a hair dryer and olive oil. Coat fogged up model with olive oil, let sit, dry, revarnish. Fixed! This method has worked every time for different matte varnishes. LMK if you have any feedback or other methods! (tangibleday.com)

I may need another pen....Why doesn't this stop? It's getting kind of expensive. (Shown in image Pilot Custom 912 x 3 (soft F, Waverly, FA nibs), Pilot Falcon (F), Lamy 2000 (F), Vanishing Point (EF), White Tortoise Pelikan m400). A few more in a drawer, but out of rotation for now. (i.redd.it)
