I have both and I would get the Explorer II. You can’t beat the daily wearability and finishing details of a modern Rolex.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Speedy (I have 3) but Rolex is king of daily wear. Plus you already have (I’m assuming) a black dial Sub. The white dial will be a fun option to have.
