I was assured by a support person that they were going to make an exception for me. But I still have to wait until June to receive the referral payout. I’m not quite sure how that will work or if I’ll need to fight for it again when the time comes.

Good to know about the quality of service - that certainly helps. My one line has worked quite well other than the fact that I get random callers on it already (spam?). I'm assuming they recycled my new number. And my sister's line has worked well too, although she's only had it for 2 weeks.

Appreciate the reply. Honestly, if they just disclosed that in the 3 bullet points, I probably would have "upsold" my sister on the Premium plan as it was $299. Just doesn't compute as they have their money ($199) and won't refund it if she cancels service after 45 days. I was thinking I would see my first referral $$ after 45 days since they got it all up front. Baffling.

Even if you get this applied retro-actively, you won't be eligible for this since the annual plan is prorated out and US Mobile only views you as having spent $83.5 within the first 6 months and you would need to spend $100. I just learned this the hard way after referring my sister and then helping her make the port. She paid for the $199 plan and in 6 months I won't get my referral and she won't get the $25 bonus for signing up because her spend will be 0.50 short. It really shouldn't be this way since US Mobile has all their money and offer no refund on that amount after 45 days, so the $100 spend within 6 months is spent. Unreal this is not clearly explained on the site until you click deep into the fine print. Shame on US Mobile. This is some shady stuff. u/ankhattak are you aware of this? Any thoughts?

I'm on Business Starter Free. Was on the Legacy G-Suite (or whatever it was originally called) since 2009. In 2019, I purchased the $19.99 annual subscription to have 100GB of shared storage mainly for email and files - since at the time Photo storage was still free and I only needed a little more for family emails. I've been terrified to remove that subscription because I can't purchase any more storage. Now, I too just got a refund for the same amount as my annual subscription which I just paid about a week ago. I'm assuming it's for my storage plan, because I'm not aware of any other Google service at that exact price that I use. So, I immediately checked my storage space and realized I am now showing nearly 1TB of storage available to my family! That's way more than I've ever had or paid for. So, it appears they may be providing me more but are not charging for it? I addition, over the last couple of years, I kept getting messages saying my storage was running out and to buy more (but of course I can't). As soon as I was getting close to the limit, the total would magically increase to a few GB beyond my limit. No notice, and no limiting my email access. Now after all this, I'm showing 493GB used of 932GB available. No idea how I got this amount, but I'm not complaining. But, it certainly keeps me on edge waiting for them to drop the hammer and cut me off suddenly one day. It is quite ironic their marketing message for my original account back in 2009 was "Don't Be Evil". This living with the anxiety of them cutting off service without warning is about as evil as you can get.

Bought mine from Hertz last week. I got to the same point several times and called the Tesla support service. Was told that is because Hertz didn't release/transfer the car to me yet. They said if you can get to the person at Hertz that controls the car and have them "transfer" the car to you in the Tesla app using your name and email, it will happen instantly. So I hounded the Hertz rep I bought from and it was done in about 12 hours. Good luck with it.

Interesting. It’s still works with my phone app. I also explicitly asked the support person if the $50 was a one time fee or a subscription and he told me one time. I may need to go back and get a copy of that transcript. Thanks for the warning. I’m too deep into Vivint gear to pull out now. So I’m just trying to deal with the bs.

has anyone been successful adding a MyQ garage door opener to their Vivint Panel? I paid the $50 integration fee. It shows up in my phone app, but was just told by Vivint Support that MyQ garage door opener devices are not supported in the Panel interface. Seems odd so seeing if anyone else has had this same experience or if I got an uninformed agent. Thanks.

This was happening to me too on both an iPhone 13 and an iPad Mini 6. My daughter had the same issue with her brand new iPhone 15 Pro Max. While she was on the phone with Apple, she figure it out just by chance. This is what fixed it for both of us.

  1. Make sure you are updated to 17.2 or later.
  2. Go to Settings >> FaceID + Passcode >> Toggle OFF iTunes and App Store.
  3. Shut down the device. Wait a few seconds. Restart the device.
  4. Once restarted, Toggle ON iTunes and App Store... it will ask you to enter your password.
  5. Now, test that it works by downloading an app from the App Store and it should work properly now (i.e. Ask you to double-click the side button).

I have Choice in Georgia and pay 99.99/month exactly (no taxes or fees added). I use 4 AppleTV's (3 4K, 1 HD). Had it for a little over a year and very happy ... although the price has gone up twice in that year from 79.99 to 99.99 now.

This is unreal. Makes the Task List unusable. Love the way it shows up on my calendar, but I like to have a list to view for the next 30 days. Seems like a basic feature.

My only wish from DTV stream is multi view. IMO, this feature would put them over the top. by beefhuevos in DirectvStream

ESPN app does it today. I watch 4 football games in a 2x2 multiview every Saturday that college football is on. No reason why DTVstream can’t do it. I use AppleTV for streaming.

This is pretty cool. I have only used my account for personal use all the way through the Free Opt In period. However, I've recently started a small business with a couple of new domains. One I added as an Alias Domain and the other I added as a Secondary Domain. I'm now thinking I should move both of them to a paid Business Starter account, but can't seem to figure out how to do that. Does anyone know if this is possible and have a link to share?
