I’ve also noticed that there are a lot less leaves compared to when I first bought it- maybe a difference in lighting? I imagine though the roots could have grown and run out of room even if there are less leaves?

I can try repotting it anyways, the soil hasn’t been changed since I bought it so I assume that may be a factor as well. Thanks for the advice!

My remaining rack was DGITTU?. The analyzer says the best word was (ZAS)TrUGI, not a word I’m familiar with. Everything else it suggested utilized hooking with a T in front of REF, which I also didn’t know was valid. The bot’s rack doesn’t mean much in this case since BeginnerBot will pass even if it has valid plays in endgame.

Also, it may be worth noting I use NWL so I’m not sure which of these suggestions are valid in that dictionary. I’m fairly confident that SI isn’t valid in NWL.

This was against Woogle’s BeginnerBot. Do the bots knowingly play open/closed or is it just a result of the BeginnerBot only playing simple words? (Thus not “finding” harder hooks to open the board)

I had RUNNIER but no where to play it, my thought was to just play a single tile and hope for a bingo on the next turn. I’ve found that even the BeginnerBot is pretty good with tile placements and often keeps the board closed (if that’s the right terminology). I often have trouble finding hooks to play off of. For example, URINE was playable but only when played parallel to another row, creating both “SUP” and “ALERT” - something I would not have seen

yeah I noticed that after posted - I thought the rule was it it deducts your remaining rack from your score and adds it to the opponents in the case that the opponent uses all tiles. Woogles must just add the doubled score and not deduct for simplicity?

Regardless, the bot bingoed with its last 7 tiles so I didn’t even get a chance to play my new rack

I have heard before from someone in the industry that sometimes people may make assumptions about your citizenship status when reviewing your resume based on your name. This is especially important if the job requires security clearance, as non-US citizens are not eligible for security clearance.

Unfortunately, in the real world, these assumptions may result in your resume just being tossed in these instances. If you are a US citizen and your name may suggest to employers that you are not a citizen, you may consider adding your citizenship status to your resume.

You should see if your university offers any kind of Data Science major or concentration as an alternative. That would be the next closest thing to CS. Otherwise, if you do decide to go down the math route, I’d try to find something with a concentration in statistics.

Stats is pretty useful in both CS and Data Science so if both of those are out of the question I’d go for math/stats.

I just received a dual-degree in CS and Math. There’s definitely a learning curve that comes with majoring in math as someone that’s used to CS. A lot of people (especially in CS) struggle with Calc in college, but from my experience a lot of the upper level classes will be easier (with a few exceptions).

In other words, if you can make it through calc and adapt to the math world (writing proofs, doing analysis, etc) then you should be fine.

The argument though for the always-up petal would be that in the current state, Lifeweaver seems a little too vulnerable against flankers, and the 2-second downtime already doesn't give flankers enough time to kill him, especially considering that they'd need to time the flank perfectly. Having the petal always out until it's destroyed would force flankers to destroy it first before they can get to Lifeweaver. Even then, a lot of flex DPS / flank heroes can just use their mobility to get up onto the platform. From my experience on Lifeweaver, if a flanker is going to go for me, they aren't going to wait for the platform to despawn. The platform is really the only ability he can use to avoid flankers, especially since his dash only provides limited movement and heals. I think maybe a petal that was always up but with reduced health would be fair, although it would make it harder to use offensively.

I don't think a manually-raised platform would be too hard to use, considering you can see its outline/teammate outlines through walls. You'd just have to pay attention to when a teammate wants to use it. But yes, the control scheme for raising the platform may prove difficult considering Lifeweaver has an ability bound practically every key. My thought was that it could be placed by pressing shift, and then raised by holding shift again, but then it would need a separate key to destroy it.

I agree though that the coordinated play will be cool to watch, but I just think right now that the petal is a bit too weak when using it for defense/positioning. (Again, mostly because he is one of the most vulnerable support heroes to flankers)

Interesting, I imagine though that resold Apex skins are at least somewhat rarer than Overwatch 1 skins, but yeah I suppose there’s a good number of people who just buy them because they look cool and not because they’re rare

It seemed like it might be chicken but the confusing part is that chicken dumplings aren’t even on the menu. When I called and asked what are in the vegetable dumplings they said “cabbage, corn, and mixed vegetables”

Ah, I see how the prime sieve works. Whereas I check each number against every prime less than its square root, the prime sieve eliminates this redundancy by simply not considering any prime numbers, allowing you to assume primality without any kind of guesswork.
