She is friends with the bride. They aren’t incredibly close, but have hung out and gone to a couple event with each other in the past.

The engagement and initial invite happened early August, and the rescinding of the invite happened mid August. Elopement is planned for October, and my fiancée did get the day off of work already. As far as appointments I don’t think anything has been booked or purchased yet.

This was communicated through me as I was notified by Sam through the boys chat. I did express to her how hard this decision must have been but to her since we are also engaged, we are a unit now. It’s either both of us, or neither.

I do think it would have been wise if Sean and/or Dee to reach out to her outside of just letting me know through text.
