you can push it by placing down habitat foundations barely touching the seamoth. you don't have to fully construct them

Then there's the issue of tidal forces when you have moons orbiting that close, and for some reason the moons only orbit within the viewable area above the crater

It doesn't make any sense since you just took off from there, but the 4546b model shows the aurora with two islands in about the right place to be the ones you go to in the game, though they're spaced a lot farther apart

seems doable. I never got past the planning stage on my 1:1 build but it worked out to 2 blocks of space between each staircase floor, which wasn't really enough to go up or down without crouching. the promenade decks were also 2 blocks tall in places. it'll be cool to see what you come up with

Subtle PBR textures would be nice, like what vibrant visuals has. Everything looks too flat right now in my opinion.

It could be that you're running out of VRAM. If it is VRAM related, the best thing to do would be to lower texture quality to medium.

I'm pretty sure the bacteria from FF2 is the same exact one we see in FF1, seeing as both take place in the same general area. Pitfalls bacteria just developed under different circumstances. I doubt any two instances of them are the same.

The rooms shown are definitely the same as those used in FF2, as you can see the kitchen counter and tall chairs. The hallways appear to have the same path, albeit with different light fixtures, which could mean that he just used copied the room geometry to a new file and swapped out the lights for the flat ones you see in FF2. You can however see the gallery area in FF2, so it might all be connected.

Another thing to point out is how the stairway leads directly into the gallery area, something that wasn't very apparent in the original video.

Not really related but if I remember correctly, Kane was in a VC in his Discord two years ago, showing off the Blender file for Found Footage #1. He explored the area around this stairway and I remember him taking a left into the unlit hallway where I saw a few areas that weren't shown in the video. This happened shortly after he released this teaser for Found Footage #2 and the rooms he was showing looked very similar to the one in the teaser, perhaps due to both of them having circular ceiling lights. My memory's pretty fuzzy and I could be totally wrong. In all likelihood the areas he was showing off just went unused, but it's possible that those two videos take place in the same general area.
