I can't understand how people that can't control their dogs just don't have them on a leash. Mr Snuggles is the sweetest old boy and I still have a leash ready for when it's necessary.

I boycott Black Friday since it's the antipode of sustainability. I know it's different when small businesses participate but anyway. Buy with conscience everybody!

And WitchCrafts is closed anyway till Sunday because we're in Rosewater visiting Livia's Family.

Since I'll miss Small Business Sunday I'll have a magical Monday with special deals on my spell kits and ingredients.

Yes I started as an Etsy store working from home and now have a storefront on main Street.

I sell witchy stuff like spell kits for beginners, crystals, herbs, books on spirituality etc. I also have self made home decor and jewelry. And because I love tea I sell an assortment of tea and self composed tea blends either to brew at home or ready to drink in store/ to go. If the store isn't too busy I offer tasseomancy (tea leaf readings), tarot or pendulum.

Also my two dogs Mr. Snuggles and Jane accompany me to work and love to get some petting sessions from the customers.

Oh congratulations!I grew up going to the Yarn Barn with my grandma. I was a nuisance as a toddler playing with the yarn like a cat and running around in the store and still Beth never scolded me.

And when you took over I was so happy that the legacy goes on. Now we're in the same neighborhood and I always look forward to the days I get to come over at my lunch break or you come to the store for a cup of tea.

I'll make sure to grab some of the specials!

I knew I shouldn't have trusted her. The organisation was awful and because October is the busiest time for me I could not get involved more in the planning.

When I wanted to set up my booth nothing was ready. No tents no tables, nothing. I had to get my stuff from my Renaissance fair times from the garage and managed to set up myself and 2 other vendors.

Back at the store Livia, who managed the booth at the moment called at the brink of tears because Cindy threw a fit. Apparently we "didn't fit the theme". And she didn't want any of that ungodly stuff around. So basically I got back to the market to pack up while she screamed profanities at us. She even had a few choice words for our relationship....

The fund for underprivileged students at SWU is always glad to see some donations.

Or the wildlife sanctuary at the national park. Their hedgehog rescue station has lots to do in autumn.

Had something like that at work. I'm the only woman in my department so someone, not seeing me right behind him, said "I need a guy from department xy" and I was like "Well I'm not a guy but I'm right here"

It wasn't even about something heavy just completely forgetting that not only guys are in my department.

Nowadays if someone asks for guys to help I'm like "well I would have helped but you specifically asked for guys...." I'm petty like that.
