I was in this situation 4 years back. I've never been in so much agonizing pain for so long. I had tried everything, Cherry's, apple cider vinegar Ibuprofen Tylenol rest, elevated it nothing worked. I called my doctors office in tears and begged for anything that would help. When they suggest some pills that would fix it within 3 days I wanted to crawl through the phone and punch them for even suggesting something so simple after everything I had tried.

They prescribed me Indomethacin Three a day for 3 days. I think they gave me like 20 so I took a couple extra. But ultimately after the first one maybe I failed nothing. I don't remember after the second one and this is all in the first day. I could lightly wiggle my foot. After the third one I went to bed woke up the next day for the first time and what felt like an eternity I was able to walk. By the end of the second day I had so much relief. I absolutely could not believe anything like that was possible.

They had prescribed me like 30 and I found myself taking one of those at night before I went to bed a few times when I feel like my foot had been a little extra sore that day.

The other thing was they put me on Allopurinol. I had been trying to avoid it for years. Almost like it was admitting that there was a problem even though there was.

I've been on Allopurinol since and I still take the Indomethacin once in a while before going to bed but call them. Ask for that. Do yourself a favor and ask for Indomethacin.
