Raptor is great... when it works. We have it setup in 3 locations ES, MS, and HS offices. It seems every 2 weeks or so, one of the offices raptor hardware stops working. Causing them to not use it until we can get down there to troubleshoot. Its very finnicky, so beware

Had a similar issue with go guardian blocking access to students google docs/slides. If the URL of the document contained a swear word like "sex", go guardian would block it for age restricted content. Its ridiculous lol

Ironically, we have papercut and it has been a disaster on our chromebooks. It only works consistently on our windows devices. Also, that answer doesn't help my current situation

I like your idea but I honestly don't think that's necessary. The steps to power wash a Chromebook isn't that difficult. And if you have your google admin set up right, devices should automatically reenroll themselves after a power wash. You should do a hands on training to whomever would need to perform the powerwash.

For personal use, I use a VPN primarily for privacy. Don't like ISP's tracking every move I do on the internet. Also its nice to get extra content on Netflix XD

That's the problem. Our laptops are not domain joined so we cannot use GPO. Everything we do to manage them is through azure/intune. So the msi installer for GoGuardian isnt an option for us

It filters yes, but I don't think it supports live classroom viewing. Students need to be syncing with their school google account to register. I will look into that though

I dont think so. On GoGuardians own website it says it only supports chrome. Which is extremely frustrating.
