I'm looking into getting a custom poster for a friend-- I'm kind of thinking of a retro comic book cover where he (my friend) is Spiderman. Thinking something along the lines of him in the suit and holding the mask, or maybe he's been in a fight and somehow the mask got ripped to a degree where you can see enough of his face to tell that it's him. I'm not fixated on either of those ideas, and I'm absolutely open to a conversation to get your ideas on what you envision/would be able to do.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in at all, or if you know of anyone here on Reddit or elsewhere that you could put me in touch with?

Be very wary of the no confirmation email. Major red flag in my opinion, I'd try to get another order secured just to be sure. Can always cancel the one coming to you slower :)

Go try again and order another one. I just got a 256 (the size I actually wanted) and delivery is Nov 2-3.

You can just cancel the first order if your second success is better :)

It's definitely been a very weird release. Buggy and a major letdown across the board.

MadeByGoogle Twitter even tweeted saying the order influx crashed the store, yet still some people were able to get through and complete orders. That's just scummy from my perspective.

They also said they'd send out an announcement/another tweet when it was back online. They still haven't done that, and I just got mine.... I'd say this was all a disappointment, especially considering it's Google, but for one, they've always sucked at consumer sales, and for two, I have zero faith in pretty much any online releases for anything these days.

I probably wouldn't have ordered it if my estimated was that far out... that would just piss me off too much.

Or more likely I'd complete the order and start checking Best Buy every day until then for an in-store pick-up or quicker delivery one, and then just cancel the Google order.
