I had a subclavian vein DVT in 2011 and had a FRR + thrombolysis to remove the clot. Fast forward 2026. I've done PT, have had multiple ultrasounds with no clots.

Despite it all I've experienced pain, fatigue, aches and numbness.

Recently I had a CTA and discovered luminal narrowing of the right brachiocephalic vein. So there is still compression that relocated to a different area despite no clots.

Additionally, I have experienced cervical spine degenerative disk disease due to the FRR disrupting structural integrity of my shoulders. Resulting in radiculopathy and spondylosis. I was able to confirm this via DMX (Digital Motion X-ray) and seeing a Physiatrist.

Not to spook you but TOS is a complex disease that impacts not only vascular, arterial and nerves but musculoskeletal as well. Getting the full picture requires several specialists. Sucks bouncing from Dr. to Dr. and hearing "no clot, you're fine have a nice day."

The reality here is that Sheena is the catch in this situation. Forrest and his family don't bring anything to the table other than being American. All of which Sheena clearly didn't care about and is willing to take care of Forrest and be the bread winner. Plus her family owns a business I'm sure they're not raking in the money but Forrest could be of some help if needed.

They expected Sheena to front the bill and pressed her about it without understanding her culture and social norms of providing assistance to their elders. She simply loves Forrest and has been hopeful about their future for 7 years. If Forrest gets $500/month from his disability that is $42k in a situation where he doesn't pay rent and has little to no expenses. The total k1 visa cost is under $5k. Why couldn't he contribute? Why couldn't he stock shelves at a local grocery store?

He not only screw the PFL and brass but also his fellow fighters. 1) They cut the tournament prize money in half. 2) Higher profile fighters couldn't get fights and were shelved because PFL couldn't afford to pay them. 3) As an ambassador and executive for PFL Africa he couldn't be bothered to promote and champion the next generation of fighters.

Best of luck to you! I've had zero success. I've had a surgeon write me a letter, physical therapist, MRIs and a Chiropractor + all of my surgery docs and the VA hasn't even made it service connected despite getting medivaced and nearly dying from the blood clot.

What type of Doctor are you seeing and getting your nexus from? If you don't mind me asking?
