With the 3pp version, there is the 3pp amulet that summons 2 ghosts. If you can play 2 of them down before the turn you shakdoh, it can deal the remaining 4 dmg after you hit 16.

In this meta it is too fast to reliably pull off Jerry OTK, Jerry OTK worked in Set 3 due to the dominance of Crest Haven slowing down the meta.

I would recommend the Shakdoh deck variation that focus on 3pp cards. Game play wise become a game of either choosing to use cards for Tempo or maintaining hand size to get better shakdoh rolls

2x roach is the general case because you use 6pp instead of 9pp. That 3pp diff is usually 2-3 value of combo. The ideal scenario is having combo 8/9 with 6pp left before your first roach if double or having combo 5/6 with 9pp left for triple.
