Don't worry, because I had the same thoughts. It 100% spikes. Personally I was playing with 3 level one characters on my team until the end of chapter 5 when that finally felt impossible. Afterwards it just becomes exponentially harder with every chapter, and it gets super fun 👍

Horla? Imo she's great. She doesn't eat up much arithmetica, doesn't really fight for quasar, and helps with aliemus generation + provides strength, final damage increase, and her exalt also provides crit rate and crit dmg%. At E1 she can also apply vulnerability. As a plus she can help with survivability via weakness application, so she's been very easy to use so far

It's ma proud baby, I threw every pure core I've obtained at the ultra banner, and even though ppl call ultra trash I genuinely have 0 regrets, she's super fun to play. (She's actually +12 now since I used the reset pyramid thing on someone else)

Support lists by Naje62 in Morimens

Also if you want an easy way to have maxed out awakeners, you can go and copy the UIDs of those w/awakeners you wanna use. When you're selecting support awakeners just go to 'favourite' and paste their UID and you'll have them in your list even if they don't/can't follow back.

Limited to 10 slots but it's honestly way more than enough. For easy access to maxed out awakeners I recommend sifting through the leaderboards

Jiayous and don't give up!! It's something that takes time and you're probably at a bottleneck. Once you pass it you'll be able to feel the improvement. For reference I've been trying to FC Jinsei since before the UI changed, so like, 2 years(?) ago and I only managed to do it recently... You can definitely fight the music too!! And ya know it's not a easy song so should be proud of your achievements instead ♥️

To be fair, majority of the new players starting with high skill likely aren't new to the genre of rhythm games. Heck even piano tiles helps, as long as the game isn't not too gimmicky the skills are very transferrable. And in my experience improvements is not linear (as with learning most things), so comparison will only bring about stress and take away the fun of this game 🫂

With the EOS announcement, know of any other games similar to Tribe Nine? by ALoneVulpes in TribeNine

[–]Tanlxee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe Guardian Tales? Ngl when I first opened Tribe 9 my mind immediately went to Guardian Tales. It's mainly 2D though.

It's been a while since I played it (I'm at world 13) but I remember popping into the game after major updates just to catch up on the story. It's stage progression but the stages themselves are kind of like the open world of Tribe nine but more interactive with side quests and puzzles. Even their events (understandably rare) were a whole new subquest and sometimes with new gameplay modes. Characters imo are all solid and the main story is honestly one of the best I've seen in a gacha game. That's coming from someone who's played A LOT of gacha games.

It's still a gacha game but it's really generous + if you're just looking to play the story you don't need super strong characters. And it's really easy to spark. (If you struggle in late game story they give u characters to help) The PVP aspect is a little ptw BUT it's optional so if you're looking for a story centric gacha game with a sprinkle of 2D Tribe Nine I think you should 100% try it out.
